With online learning becoming standard during the pandemic, thousands of Arizona students are locked out of learning due to the large digital divide that exists in the state. Close to 35% of all low income students do not have access to a computer or high speed internet to complete their studies. Since education is the great equalizer, the Legends went to work and collaborated with Laptops 4 Learning, a local Phoenix non-profit that provides laptops to at no cost to low income students, to provide six deserving students at the Phoenix Hope Academy with laptops. Furthermore, the Legends also provided Laptops 4 Learning with a $10,000 donation to expand the programs to all students that need laptops for school.
